 Over 200 performers will showcase their talents along the banks of Currumbin creek to celebrate the old-fashioned art of busking. The program plans to include a variety of singer/songwriters, artistic fire, magicians, bands and dancers with a full schedule of acts announced closer to the event date. International festival fare will be available to tempt all tastebuds and artisans will be displaying their creative wares and talents. Don’t miss this weekend of magic!

The Supercars Castrol Gold Coast 600 always provides a huge weekend of racing and entertainment. Sounds powered by Sea FM returns with two massive nights of entertainment. Peking Duk and L D R U will fire up the crowds on Friday night with The Living End, The Rubens and Birds of Tokyo continuing the party on Saturday. Other great weekend entertainment includes Miss Supercars finals, destination bars and the return of Club 600.

The streets of Surfers Paradise are where the drivers do battle. This is the final event in the PIRTEK Enduro Cup. Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks make a spectacular return to the Gold Coast streets after a sensational debut in 2015.

The Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival (SCFF) is the only established, internationally recognised fashion festival in Queensland. The festival is proud to display the best of our local and international talent, and it boasts an incredible line-up of emerging and established designers alike.

SCFF is dedicated to the growth of the fashion scene on the Sunshine Coast and prides itself on highlighting the hottest summer haute couture, ready to wear and swimwear styles, created by some of the industry’s most in demand designers.

Brisbane locals will have the rare opportunity to visit about 100 of the city’s most significant and intriguing buildings when they open their doors for the seventh annual Brisbane Open House.

The free Brisbane Open House event offers the chance to tour a remarkable range of buildings including the Fort Lytton Historic Military Precinct, Spring Hill Service Reservoirs, Archerfield Airport, QUT’s new Creative Industries Precinct, and QIMR Berghofer.

Also on offer in 2016 is the ever-popular photography competition, Speaker Series, guided walking tours, the meet-the-maker Made in Brisbane experiences, an engaging children’s program featuring entertaining activities at many participating buildings, and free concerts.
