Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade – 16th December

Christmas the Aussie way! The parade starts at 6.30pm in front of The Wharf Mooloolaba before heading out along the main canals of Mooloolaba, Kawana and Buddina before finishing back in front of The Wharf. The hub of the event is The Wharf Mooloolaba which will be great place to watch the parade and enjoy The Wharf entertainment and selection of eating areas.



Christmas in Brisbane – 1st December – 24th December

Throughout the month of December Christmas comes to life throughout the city. Enjoy the Gold Lotto City Hall Light Spectacular every 15minutes between 7.30pm & midnight from December 9th – 24th.  The Roma Street Parkland will be turned into an enchanted fairy lit Garden with Christmas Movies in the Park from the 10th December.

Rugby League World Cup Final – 2nd December

Watch the anticipated Rugby League World Cup Final at Suncorp Stadium. The game kicks off at 7pm.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular – 31st December

Enjoy the spectacle of the South Bank Fireworks at both 8.30pm and midnight. Bring 2018 in with a bang!

Australian PGA Championships – 30th November – 3rd December

The Australian PGA Championships returns to the Gold Coast in 2017. With $1.25 million prize money up for grabs this event has some fantastic Australian and International Players including Sergio Garcia. The event will take place at RACV Royal Pines Resort.

Held at the historic Abbotsford Convent Gardens, this three-day festival features Victoria’s finest craft beer, modern style street food and an awesome line-up of bands and artists!

Carman’s Women’s Fun Run – 3rd December

The Carman’s Women’s Fun Run 2017 is run in support of the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). The run takes place in Catani Gardens, St Kilda.

Paul McCartney – 5th December

Paul McCartney performs his One on One Tour at AAMI Park.

La La Land in Concert – 16th December

The Philharmonia Australia Orchestra will perform the soundtrack from La La Land live alongside a full screening of the critically acclaimed film. The event will take place at Palais Theatre in St Kilda.

Off the Grid – 22nd December

A solar powered festival of song and sustainability. The event takes place at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.
