By admin | September 13, 2018

Want to indulge and relax on the most beautiful beaches Queensland has to offer? We’ve listed the top three must see and swim beaches when visiting the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.

Gold Coast

Burleigh Beach, Burleigh Heads.

Burleigh Beach is a beautiful local beach if you want to get away from the tourist strip of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. It’s a perfect spot for swimming and surfing that is surrounded by a nook of boutique shops and food located in James Street. Spend a sunny afternoon picnic on Burleigh hill observing the Gold Coast skyline from the beachside.

Tallebudgera Creek, Palm Beach.

Tallebudgera is a beautiful crystal-clear creek, suited for families with small children as there is shallow patrolled beach on the other side of the creek. Tallebudgera is situated over the headland from Burleigh Beach which is a short 15-minute trail to get to this idyllic swim spot.

Currumbin Beach, Currumbin

Currumbin beach is home to world champion surfer, Joel Parkinson – which is self-explanatory for surfers. Currumbin Creek is also a peaceful dream where you can do activities such as stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking.

Sunshine Coast

Kings beach is Queensland’s Bondi! It is protected from the northern winds and is safe due to consistent lifeguard patrols. Kings Beach accommodates for all ages, if the little beachgoers aren’t confident with waves there is a free beachfront saltwater rock pool available.

Main Beach, Noosa

The iconic Main Beach in Noosa is a gorgeous beach during any season of the year, surrounded by great little boutiques and cafes. Want to have a secluded beach to yourself? Explore the Noosa National Park and discover the unique pebbly beaches along the headland.

Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast

Enjoy the laid-back sunny coast feel of Coolum Beach, located halfway between Maroochydore and Noosa. The Coolum Beach coast line is never crowded with people due to its miles of sand, hidden bays and rock pools. Spend hours at Coolum beach adventuring and finding little pools to cool off in.
